La’ Shandra “Elle” Holmes-Russell received her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy Degree from Shenandoah University and her Certificate in Early Intervention from Georgetown University in 2019. She is a board certified and licensed Occupational Therapist in Virginia as well as a certified Hatha and Postnatal Yoga Instructor.
Elle has experience in working with children from ages 10 months to 18 years old who have been clinically diagnosed with a childhood developmental disorder to include, but not limited to Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD, Restrictive Food Intake, Anoxic Brain Injury and Cerebral Palsy.
Elle is passionate about partnering with families in order to collaboratively identify therapeutic interventions that not only maximize childhood developmental outcomes, but those that will support and strengthen familial bonding and relationships. It is Elle's held belief that “relationship is the organizing factor in which all development occurs” and that every child and family deserves an "exceptional bright beginning". A belief that continues to guide her professional development aspirations toward completing her current training become a Certified Educator in Infant Massage and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.
